Season 3 Episode 19 – Nicole & Mary

On this week’s episode, I sit down with Mary and Nicole.

Due to the sensitive nature of this topic, Mary sits off-camera, We are also joined by Natasha who is a social care leader on the foster social work team.

Nicole was fostered I just six years of age after a horrific incident with a needle left at her home she talks to me about how this life-changing moment set her on her way to help other vulnerable children by being the one good adult in their life.

Mary’s story is a bit more sensitive she fosters her grandson she has fostered him since he was a baby she talks about the absolute joy she brings and how she would urge anyone else to do the same.

Episode 11 – Beverly

On this week’s episode I sit down with Beverly Coughlan AKA Bev. Bev was a guest on Episode 3 The Five lamps and on that we touched on her journey through pre and post-natal depression and psychosis.

After that  episode we got so many messages and requests, asking us to sit down together again and this week we get into the why behind her journey and how two horrific incidents sent her down the path of anxiety.

We chat through the births of our children and she tells me of her horrific miscarriage and how these events impacted not only her but her little family.

She tells me why it’s so important to get your smear and what she went through because of a delayed result.

We chat how she campions others to be their very best self and how she is getting there with her own confidence.

Bev was a pleasure to sit with and someone you can easily relate with, we had lots of fun on and off mike on this, Prosecco is to blame…… we hope you enjoy.
